JM-50 היא מכונה רב-תכליתית וחסכונית, המיועדת לאוטומציה של תהליכי THT ידניים ולשילוב השמת רכיבי SMD ו-THT במכונה אחת. למרות היותה דגם בסיסי, JM-50 מספקת יכולת הרכבה מתקדמת, ומאפשרת למפעלים להיכנס לתחום אוטומציית תהליכי THT בעלות נמוכה, תוך שמירה על איכות הייצור הגבוהה של JUKI.
הדגם במקורו אינו כולל יחידת כיפוף אוטומטית, מה שהופך אותו למושלם לייצור בתצורת High Mix / Low Volume שם נדרשת גמישות מרבית בהתאמת הרכבות שונות.
